General Information - Human Resources
The mission of the Human Resources Office is to strategically work with City departments and employees to attract, hire, develop, motivate, and retain a qualified, diverse workforce dedicated to working together to deliver high quality services to the community.
The Human Resources Office is responsible for recruitment/retention, compensation, employee development, performance management, compliance with employment law, policy review and implementation, employee wellness and benefits program administration, communication, employee and labor relations, workplace safety and workers’ compensation, and Civil Service.
